We’ve seen quite a bit of wildlife along the road: plenty of cattle and goats; antelopes in small and large sizes, including some with curly horns as in the road sign; emus singly or in groups, and sometimes with their wings spread in a attempt to cool down; and occasional birds of prey taking advantage of powerlines and telegraph poles. Despite seeing regular elephant warning signs on one stretch of road, I never really thought that we’d see them strolling across road. Until we did! Alas, we have only seen wild dogs on a road sign. They are possibly more likely to see them at night, but then you might encounter elephants again too. Not a good idea.
Awesome. They could be posing for their sign
Almost! Would love to have seen some wild dogs, but very happy to settle for an abundance of elephants. Hope all is well at Pennyplock. xkx
