It’s probably for practicality that tomatoes are displayed this way, but I find the tomato pyramid a pleasing sales arrangement. It’s always done the same on the sidewalk and you know that each pile will be same amount from one seller to the next. “Two piles of plump juicy toms, please.” “That’s 6 bond, thanks.” Meaning tonight’s tomato curry will be less than 1 Aussie dollar.
I bet they taste like “real” tomatoes xx
They are tasty, juicy and a bargain to boot. xkx
Always the estate..freshly picked, we arresting a few now as well….x
Translate…
Estate=taste and arresting=are picking…God knows how these words appear!!
Ah ha. I’d been wondering what you were on about and had planned to follow up. Good to know your tomatoes haven’t actually done anything wrong apart from being good enough to eat. Enjoy! xkx
And that you will be back!
Yes, I will. 4 weeks to go and a lot to pack in. But I will be back in mid-September. xkx
These tamatos look beautiful and the price is beautiful too 😀please 10 piles 😜
Looking forward to you returning home Karen. Think I have missed some posts, for some unknown reason they havn’t been coming through my email address, so went looking today. Not long now before you get home. Take care, much love xxx
Love the tomatoes piled up like that. xx
Zhen & Lois – I can assure you that the tomatoes were good. Large and juicy. I will see you both in a few weeks. xkx
