Logrono

Logrono is stuffed full of fabulous buildings though there seems to be fair bit of facade-ism happening: whereby the facade of the ground floor of old buildings is kept and the rest is replaced. I have had a pleasant two days here: relaxing, letting my feet get over their grumbling and forwarding some things to Santiago (I have to get there now!) by way of reducing the weight of my rucksack. Each evening I have caught up with pelegrinos I have met along the Camino, which has been a nice way to maintain connectedness with the journey. So why have I uploaded an onion photo? No reason other than there were some great fruit and veg shops in Logrono and the humongousness of these onions caught my eye. I thought they would make a change from old buildings and beautiful scenery.

  1. Love the onions…. also thanks for the postcard which arrived today. I still like the old snail mail way of keeping in touch!
Back on the road tomorrow I guess. Will raise a glass to you tomorrow when we gather for Amber’s 21st. Leexx

    1. Yes. Back on the road today. Just a short 15km hop to a small town (250) and a hostel with only 2 people – me and a guy from adelaide! Hope the birthday weekend goes well – would love to have been there. I will send a FB message but get ali to post a family photo online. xkx
