What a delightful mix of treats. For Rick, there’s his new, but as yet un-named, boat. This was not supposed to be a Christmas treat but some delays in finishing meant that it had its first few dips in the Southern Ocean over the festive season. Kermit is a perennial treat: having afforded many hours of pleasant paddling around Western Australia with many more to come. And no Christmas is complete, for me, without having a Terry’s Chocolate Orange, or two: something my siblings and I received as presents in our childhood Christmas stockings. Thanks for all the others Christmas gifts and the best wishes from friends. Makes me feel very lucky.
