These little beauties were just unfurling themselves from their dusty grey casings as I set off from home yesterday. Several years in the ground, the young tree choose this moment to give (in Lee’s words) a farewell flourish. I hope visitors to 381 while I’m away get to enjoy more flowers from this lovely tree.
