The first leg was yesterday from Hereford to London and today is a Eurostar zoom across to Paris. If you could make out the numbers on the moon-like clock in the distance then you would see the ungodly hour of 5:30am. Departure is softened by admiring the immense domed roof and renovations of St Pancras station: a suitably grand exit to take a step towards the Camino.
