Koala’s excited, though he’s not showing it. I’m driving and he’s been checking out the guidebooks. I’m telling Koala what I saw this morning while snorkelling at Coral Bay. From my descriptions, – greenish, long and skinny, close to 1m, eyes set back about 12″ and sharp pointed tail – Koala tells me I saw a Smooth Flutemouth. It was motionless in the water and lovely to see. “Talking to a Koala”, I hear you say. After more than 18,000kms together, what do you expect!

Koala Talking is good though I think it’s time you came home. Did you ever go to a place called Wooleen?
Me, Koala & Ted have come a long way! Will be back in Adelaide mid-January all being well. In some ways it’ll be nice to stop for a while – catching up with friends mostly – but will find it a bit tricky! Hope you’re both well & have a lovely xmas. xkx
Where’s a good camp host to talk to when you need one!
I have my fall back position of lesley and her local contacts. But camping will not be the same without the 2 smiling & welcolming faces of you guys. I have just, literally, caught up with lesley and we’re heading out snorkelling this arvo. I just read my post to lesley she said i was a suck. She’s rude. Xkx
