The last biscuit

Not the best of photos but serves to record that all good things come to an end. Today, after 7,000km on the road, I ate the last of the biscuits that Chris Banks gave me as I departed Gibbergunyah. I wish I had noted how many biscuits there were initially, so I could have calculated a biscuit/km figure. Let’s say there were 50, that means that each biscuit lasted for 140kms. Of course, eating patterns were not that consistent and sometimes I ate 3 in one sitting. Chris, who is a sharing and generous sort of soul, would be horrified that I ate them all myself. Ah well, now the crunchy and nutty delights are a thing of the past, along with the first jar of rose hip jam, two bottles of wine (from Vibeke) and youngberry jam (from Jean). Luckily, still plenty of friend-treats to go. Thanks guys!
